An influx of vacationers from Belize’s mainland flooded the islands of Ambergris Caye and Caye Caulker for the holiday weekend and the traditional Central American Spring Break period.
The two sister islands are Easter hotspots and a big draw for both local and international visitors since it's one of the biggest holidays in the country.
Literally, hundreds of people from the mainland flock to our beaches to enjoy some down time during the extended break period. San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, is one of the major hot spots in the country as it offers endless options for sponsored beach parties, water sports and music.
Exotic Caye and the rest of Ambergris Caye were at capacity and the island was teeming with fun activities and festivities. The biggest bash was held at The Holiday Hotel with special Miami DJ-Zog drawing in one the biggest crowds. It was a weekend we definitely won't forget.
