Airlines Upgrading Customer Experience

Airplane Cabin UpgradeAnyone who has been on an airplane in recent years knows that flying in the economy or coach sections is not fun.

There is rarely enough space for your legs, you may not get a snack during your flight, and you certainly aren't going to be able to sleep when you have screaming children or someone behind you kicking the back of your seat.

JetBlue and AirBus Adding More Seats

JetBlue is known for its inexpensive airfare and flights to smaller cities. Until now, they have only offered seats in a coach or economy class. Fortunately, JetBlue is now going to be changing the design of their aircraft to allow for more space between seats. AirBus is planning on adding new suites in their planes as soon as 2014.

American Airlines And Alaska Airlines Adding USB Ports And Wi-Fi

Do you want to watch the in-flight movie on your phone or tablet instead of on a plane monitor? If you are on a flight that offers streaming movie service, you can do just that. In fact, you may be able to go online to stream movies if you can connect to the Internet during your flight.

Adding USB ports allows you to charge your cellphone or keep your laptop working for the entirety of your flight. This is important if you have a big meeting to prepare for when you arrive at your destination.

The Dreamliner is Back

The Dreamliner offers passengers a quieter flight, less cabin pressure and other amenities designed to make your flight as smooth as possible. If you have to fly somewhere, you should consider flying on the Dreamliner.

Flying is not as glamorous as it used to be. However, airlines are doing their part to make flying a fun and convenient experience for frequent as well as infrequent flyers. If you have shied away from booking a flight because you don't want to be trapped on an uncomfortable bus in the sky, you should give flying a second chance.
